I wish there was a magical formula…I wish that I could tell you that hard work and commitment to task will always end with the result you are pursuing…the harder truth is that it will always result in success – even if in the moment it feels like anything but. Your test of character…the matter of who you are and what you are…will be in the bravery and enthusiasm of your determination in the pursuit of your success even if in that eventful moment you realize your work is not quite done. Kate and Alex resist the temptation to subscribe to the notion that there is an easy route…it is the toil and struggle and bleeding (metaphorically speaking!) in the pursuit of your success that makes the difference…anything less is deceit – intended to mislead and misdirect from your purpose to someone or something else – either by design or accident. So in those moments when despite every best effort and that seeming last ounce of will still fails to deliver expectations…step back and look at everything you’ve accomplished and learned…and having seen the foundation of your success paved all around you – find a way to continue on.
