The mouse pad (I was just in fact given by my wife this evening) with my daughters bold school emblem has this following phrase scrolled endlessly in the background…”Do your best through truth and courage“.  It’s fitting because my day has been a combination of wonderful and inspiring highs…coupled with a few let downs and an uninspired soul…the universe it seems likes to maintain its balance, always pushing and pulling.  Still what I take from today is that some folks behave with incredible courage…and while their truth may indeed be flawed and troubled…they manage to create change and growth and success.  Those less inspired…less courageous and perhaps a little too righteous…tend to create all kinds of reasons to find failure and fault and lose fortune. Just as well I suppose…I am not that impressed with the latter, and despite all the imperfections of the courageous…would rather keep their company than suffer those more afraid than brave.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
