Hold on a minute…there’s a shout from the back of mind that calls me out…the voice reminds me of fairy-tales and little white lies, and I realize that I have failed a major commitment to myself. I still have time to make it right…but here I am 4 months into Project 75, and while most other resolutions are on track…this one is not, and what’s ironic is that it’s perhaps the one that’s most special to me. Those lost days compound the energy and focus needed to make the self-imposed deadline…so I am frustrated by my own procrastination and easy distraction…and the affirming fear which is paralyzing – but totally not my style? Time to listen to the voice and be called out…step in to judgement and still be determined to see this story through…and if needed find the superhero in me to make it happen.
