I think sometimes it’s hard to be clear…still enough to find that balance of purpose that keeps everything in equilibrium…that perfect place in space and time is far too elusive, sigh. I am trying…and of course the reality is far more beautiful and purposeful than those distractions that seem to throw everything into chaos…so I suppose that is the whole point – to “keep trying” to maintain the balance of it all. The truth, for whatever it’s worth, is nothing more than the acknowledgement that these disturbances can reap epic and then vanish…leaving behind whatever mess intended or accidental…but what is also certain, is that none of them are necessarily defining and in fact, when handled with dignity and poise can leave you breathless in the wake of its wonder and revelation. This life of mine is quite the journey.

Good Morning Lawrence…just read your post while having the first cup of coffee and toast – to begin the day. often the journey to find balance is fraught with challenges especially if like yourself an incredible amount of very significant innovations have been accomplished with more and more in the wing. often the old people knew young people would be placed in a situation with a purpose and that purpose was to clear the way, to set up new programs – all of which to help the people, to take care of the people the way they as children saw. those forces of darkness, racism, discrimination, forces of economy brought in by newcomers supplanted/replaced the economy of those who have been here for 10,000 years. you are the wonder and revelation! The old people we worked with in Nanaimo taught us I yas Eye Un Suli/May you be Happy and in Good Spirits!!!
