It’s not something you see everyday…in fact, I can say I have ever seen anything like it…well, at least not as tall. ‘What do we have here?’ it asks with a wry tone as it steps in to view and blocks the path…I choose not to answer and give him a look of discontent…conveying I hope my displeasure as I come to a stop – and look up at its scruffy face. He seems harmless enough and I suspect, all things considered…being made of straw and grass and old tattered clothes…a little misunderstood. It looks like he’s smiling but I can’t be sure…his eyes give him away though – a little too round and far more kind than sly…he is harmless for sure. So I decide to stay a chat for a while…it turns out his name is Victor, and of all things this seems the most strangest to me…I am not sure why. Perhaps it’s because he was even there at all…and laughed with a squeak that seemed far too small…or maybe just because we was seven feet tall.

About Lawrence Lewis
I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
