Good friends are important…just like oxygen and water…they are the essential elements of life. It can be hard to pin down what makes a good friend exactly because sometimes good friendships are meant to be fleeting…a short term relationship that is powerful and substantial, a time and place that you’ll always remember as powerful but never to be duplicated – intended by circumstance to be temporary. Other times good friends are intended to be life long…the more subtle and perhaps more honest and deep connection of people…rooted in a shared history and a common language (far more figurative in meaning than literal) – the indestructible construct of space and time. No matter the type though…what’s important is that good friends hold our hands and walk with us through life…sometimes briefly and sometimes everyday…providing the connection of spirit and soul that fills whatever void needs filling; supports us through whatever troubles are brewing; fills our hearts with the echoes of our laughter and joy and celebration…but mostly confirms that we are worthy, exceptional and loved.

About Lawrence Lewis
I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
