It can be like being caught up in a riddle…the middle of everything you know and the tension of letting it all go…and then just when you think you got it all figured out – the glimmer of clarity and beautiful resolution of understanding – life changes the question – sigh.  Perhaps the better response is not one of despair or frustration…but, just maybe it’s one of humorous resolve and acceptance…a more purely human response that not only identifies our uniqueness in this cosmic soup, it also verifies the fragility of our existence and that we are okay with it.  That maybe there is no predetermined grand plan and even if there was…our very awareness of it would change it…imagine that!  Kate and Alex, I suppose life is more like some cosmic superhighway that certainly leads to a place far off in the distance…connected across time by strings and bridges and all kinds of natural laws both known and not…but more importantly bound together by your very essence – everything you believe and love and pursue.  Try to see the bigger picture – your life played out…understand that the road traveled is important only in so much as it sets your destination…so be self aware and intelligent enough to assess all options – those exits along the way that redefine your life’s path – and be farsighted enough to chose the best among them.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
