I am not sure where we will be next year…or a decade from now…perhaps even tomorrow.  I am sure it will look something like today…I mean all the usual suspects will remain like water and oceans, air and clouds, trees and forests, and people, and buildings, and machines…at least I trust they will remain.  Most everything else though may very well be different…some variation of today’s things and technologies and social mediums…perhaps even some brand new constructs and creations yet to be defined and even dreamed.  It seems a little crazy how quickly our existence is evolving…how far our reach has extended beyond our grasp…how we are able to touch on ideas, technologies, and feats without being able to fully master them.  The metaphor seems distinctly reserved for humans…it is both a blessing and the curse because while on approach to our future…we are also distinctly fragile and vulnerable when left to the outcomes of our own devices.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
