I am sitting in the quiet space of my thoughts…processing and designing the outcomes of future planned meetings…creating the storyboard to be orchestrated and played towards the various ends I need and want to achieve. The ferry I am riding back to Victoria rumbles a little as navigates…I can feel the vessel shift, but it doesn’t register in what direction…and the Spirit of something-or-other plods along through calm waters carrying me closer to home. I hate being away…and mostly I miss kissing my loved ones good night and good morning, and feeling their embrace…these are precious times, and I am constantly aware that I will never get these lost days back and struggle with the consequence. I am fortunate still in so many ways…a good wife who not only supports and encourages me, she looks after all our hearts and souls in our home…and takes care of all the details that I would surely blunder. So, in that quiet space I take stock of how fortunate I am…adjust the storyboard to make sure I take care of what is ‘really’ important…and continue the production of the masterpiece that is my life.
