Oh little one hold on tight…reach around with arms and legs, and squeeze as hard as your little might can sustain…rejuvenate us both – give us life and love – with your powerful hug. Every ounce for your weight disappears in my arms…taking with it all my own doubts and fears…and I am flooded over with the richness of my life – it takes my breath away – so, I hold on too. Nothing ever quite prepares me for the effects of your love and adoration…but what I count on…is it’s ability to reconfigure everything in my life to make sense – confirm purpose and vigilance. I am blessed and overwhelmed…and as the little soul breaks its embrace – mine lingers…my heart aches and I almost cry for more, but a reassuring smile releases me from the charm of the moment – leaving me just brave enough to take on the day.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
