I see the truth in their eyes…I can hear it in their laughter and giggles…they tell me in softness of their voices. I count them both as my little blessings…and through all the challenges and my own imperfections – everything that I worry has consequences, the things I struggle with…they become my mirror, and remind me when to adjust course and help me understand better the man that I am. In this very moment…I am king and understand that for this life I have to live at the brink…always feeling alive and good – greatness, as if each moment is what I have been waiting for all of my life. It’s here that everything is most clear…where nothings feels hard or forced or uncertain…and the reward is everything is easy. The evidence dances and plays before me…little arms embrace me and squeeze with all their might…and it’s as close to perfect as I can image.
