Never underestimate the influence of the dragons in your life…it’s not that all dragons are necessarily bad…it’s just that they are unpredictable and I think abhor any sign of indifference. Remember that dragons are wise…probably wiser than humans…of course, it doesn’t hurt that they also possess all kinds of forms of magic and other supernatural powers – if you have ever witnessed them come unleashed these things are self evident. I think our dragons dwell in the space between our conscious and sub-conscious mind and embody our primal nature, soul, psychosis and spirit…the very essences that can hold us together or tear us apart. Metaphor or not, we all have them in our lives in one form or another…and it’s best to be aware of them, respect their presence and understand their purpose…and find some equitable tolerance of each other. Dragons I have learned can be angels and lords that save human souls and restore kingdoms…and they can also be demons and slayers that correct imbalances and force resolution. It’s important to understand that once dragons are released – good or bad and no matter your wishes and pleas – they do not rest until all accounts are settled…the cause of their flight rectified and angst extinguished. My suggestion…find your dragons and watch them closely, and…demonstrate reverence in their presence.
