It took ten feet of paper…it took just over 2 hours…it took a half-dozen people and one talented hand…it took a willingness to see beyond the limitation of four walls and it took the absolute belief that it can be done. Even so…the rendering revealed only scratches the surface of what is still to be defined and refined, shaped and formed…and immersed in the detail and essence of the people and place that it must honor. Imagine a space and gathering place…which by its very presence acknowledges and lifts the people…saves its children and restores souls and faith…and in the quietness within the echo’s of the old-people sing and dance and feast. This is what we are building…so much more than just a building.

About Lawrence Lewis
I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
