We all find our river to pray…for some it’s literal prayer, and even literally in the river as my aboriginal brothers and sisters would atone…and for others it’s far less literal and more about excising whatever ghosts haunt us and celebrating blessings that fill us through any number of activities that inspire or compel us. I fall in to this latter way of finding my peace from the scattered dark side that swirls around us like a riptide…finding reprieve in the simple treasures of joy and pleasure wrapped up in the smile of my son and tickle of my daughters tangled hair against my nose…so many of these infinite moments. Intimate reflections of everything and all things that truly matter…this is my heaven.
