I think it was Frost who spoke about two roads diverged in a wood and that taking the one less traveled having made all the difference…I wonder about this, and even though I do subscribe to the notion, find myself considering the more traveled road from time-to-time…if only for its promise of something easier and less concerned. It’s an illusion I know…a mirage that promises to quench every aching and desperate thirst…an oasis built on bended light but no matter, and therefore a dangerous path to chase. Still, the toil can be heavy some days, much more than others…weighted even more so by the reflection and display of some so less inclined to take that better road…and I am dismayed and disappointed and taken aback, sigh. So…in those moments when I question my purpose and resolve – in that instance when my decision or action will mean the difference between that easy road and the one less traveled…I open my eyes to see those two little souls who lead me everyday, and that makes all the difference.

About Lawrence Lewis
I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
