There will come a time when everything seems out of control…purpose will fall away and you’ll feel lost…balance and calm will elude you.  If I were to give you advice, it would be to remain still…simply stop and wait for your life to catch up with you…be thankful.  Stay there in that place a little while and choose to feel alive – this is where your soul grows…find your reflection in whatever chaos is there and wait for your life to arrive.  In this moment find your faith in yourself and choose to emerge from this turmoil…make this forever heel to your spirit.  In that space waiting as your life collides back into you, you’ll find the quiet certitude that is yours…along with the inventory of lessons you’ve learned, the skills you’ve earned and the cleverness you’ve discovered.  These are the events of your life that created you..this is where you came from – how you got to this place…it is replete with strength, aptitude and courage.  Now…reject this instance of despair, no matter the choices or the consequence that lead you there…from this very moment forward, actions here are the real measure of you…be patient and act with conviction – sleigh this Goliath and the storm will subside.  Sometimes we’ll get way from our life…slip the bonds that make us who we are – the forces that keep us from coming undone…if this happens, it’s okay, just remember to stop and be still – your life will find you.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
