We are all servants of the heart…no matter the journey or the pause, by choice or by cause…we must find the time to respect its rhythm and beat, and understand its purpose and reward. We are reminded of this duty…sometimes because life simply won’t let us pass by without acknowledging its echoing gentle force…and other times, because it rages with such distress that it could not be silenced no matter the measure. Our souls it seems have all kinds of tethers to this mortal plain…with every indication dozens of times each minute that we live in the balance of one last pulse…and that we would be well advised to serve our heart well – so that we might forever live.
