The most powerful…the most inspiring…the most moving events I have ever experienced have always been the simplest expressions. It’s that magical conversion of incredible mass in to a single phrase…an image or scene that hardly lasts a second, or the look in someones eyes that arrests your heart and soul in a glance…a weightless idiom that connects us intimately to the sum of that events entire existence and transfers it all to us in an instant. I am in awe of those moments…how an event can reach out and connect with us and in a flash draw us in to the complete fabric of its story, and even in the face of its sophistication convey the simplicity of its meaning so that we might understand and receive it…and be part of it.
