Kings pawn two spaces to control the center…always seems a good opening move…but of course it’s always more about the other side of the board and how they my free up their own Queen and Bishop. The metaphor has SO many levels it’s more than a little droll…the story here though is about how you play your own series of personal chess matches…and don’t kid yourself – we are all in the middle of this ongoing tournament of black and white allegory, limitations, and opportunities. The thing about this game, as in life, is the imperative to lead, follow and react to achieve your objectives…and as in life, if the forces on the other side of the board are better at pushing and pulling than you are…then, well, the dreams and aspirations are often lost. I trust you are taking my meaning…living your life is not a game of being victorious, taking advantage or being smarter…it’s about making all the right moves no matter what is happening across from you.
