There is no doubt that the human condition is fragile…we are ‘Glass’ as Thompson Square laments through some beautiful melody…and I think we are also strong hearts and souls that oft can’t be broken.  It’s not so much that picking up the pieces and constructing this fragile puzzle of our life is an unknown construct…that only finally reveals itself with that last piece which to the irony and chagrin of the player is also the last glimpse of this world…it’s that very beauty of this personal construct that shifts and amends based on the choices of change we make every day – some by accident and some on purpose.  We are human…the same song reminds…which by some implied definition makes us imperfect and means, sadly, that it is okay to be fragile; to be inadequate; and to be even broken.  Not sure I can comply with the sentiment…seems a little like praising the brilliance of light with your eyes closed. No, life is the light keeping darkness away – keep your eyes open…and being human is the purging that cleans your soul – embrace it all…so be glass and let yourself be big, bold and beautiful – and indestructible.
