There is quiet and stillness in the stroke of a pencil…it can be an unfamiliar road that draws you along…and forces you to settle down and let what be revealed appear in multiple shades of grey. It’s not always easy to let the demons of fear not drag you down…and force the lifting of the pencil from paper…casting doubt and fading the magic of the image you were finding. No it’s better to keep the pencil down…and only let the beating rhythm of your heart be the only bump that separates the two…the every so brief necessary pauses in creation. And when you find that place and space…that moment that flows seamlessly from head and heart through to hand…let the pencil and paper be your canvas to make dreams come true and wrestle souls towards bliss.
