Sometimes I have to remind myself to just simply not over think it…I forget that no matter how hard I may try, the desired result may be less about the effort and more about letting things gently unfold as they should.  There is no faking the work and preparation…of course, these things must be done and are the essential prerequisites for the evolution of the matter at hand…you must remain in motion too – you can not simply step away and expect the result to magically appear.  I am speaking more about letting the momentum of your efforts carry you through to the reveal with the soft and gentle guiding hand of a master…and not succumbing to the impatience and demands of other less important concerns that will attempt to force the final essence…this is where balance is lost, where sadness emerges, and where the masterpiece dissolves before your very eyes.  Sometimes it’s better even if not quite finished…once having invested your heart and soul, and exhausted your talents…to gently breath and release, and let emerge what may and trust that this is how it should be.

About Lawrence Lewis

I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
