It’s quite a moment when you hear certain things from your children for the very first time…especially when they string the words together with intent and emotion and love…funny how such simple things can be so powerful. They understand the significance and impact too I am sure…because they revel in the accomplishment, smile and giggle and then often run away as if slightly embarrassed by the deed…all very beautiful and endearing. Those first words and the beginning of spoken communication change and evolve this relationship to brand new heights and promise so much more…and yet I hope that the power of the simplest of words is not lost on us over time…and that every time you say “Hi Dadda” I feel the same pride and awe and love as I did this morning.

About Lawrence Lewis
I do a number of things professionally...but most of all and the true purpose of what I do through "my work" is to provide for my family, be a good husband and great father, and try to make a difference as a world citizen...I guess it's not much more complicated than that 🙂
